Train station / bus connection
Cuxhaven main station is about a 15-minute drive away.
You can take the bus line “1006 or 1007” from the bus stop Strandstraße to the main station. This bus line also takes you to the city center or Duhnen in about 15 minutes.
The Strandstraße bus stop is around a 10-minute walk from the hotel.

Bar
Our café bar “Inselstübchen” is located in the middle of the 2nd floor, where you will also find our drinks fridge.
Here you will also find cups, glasses, cutlery and crockery.
Please do not disturb
If you do not want to be disturbed in your room, hang the sign
“Do not disturb” sign on the outside of your room door.
You can also lock your room from the inside with your key.
In case of fire
In the event of a fire, please follow the escape route plan posted in your room or in the building.
Do not lock the front door. Follow the instructions of the hotel staff and leave the building immediately via the marked escape routes.
E-car charging station
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to offer you an in-house charging station for your e-car due to the capacity utilization of the road network.
You can charge your e-car at the Shell station
about 1000 meters away, which has two EnBW charging stations at the back of the building (Strichweg 50, 27472 Cuxhaven).

Shopping
The best shopping opportunities can be found in Cuxhaven, in the neighboring village of Duhnen on the beach promenade and around the Duhner Dorfbrunnen, in the musicians’ quarter Schillerstraße near the Alte Liebe or in Cuxhaven city center in Nordersteinstraße.

Our breakfast buffet with regional, high-quality products can optionally be booked up to one day in advance at a price of EUR 17.50 per person.
You are also welcome to spontaneously decide to book breakfast in the morning at a price of EUR 20.00 per person.

You are welcome to leave your luggage temporarily in the entrance area of the hotel on the day of departure. Please inform us when you check out.
Please note that you must collect your luggage from the hotel by 15:00 at the latest. No liability is accepted for your luggage.
Beverages
You can prepare hot drinks in the café bars on the first floor and on the 2nd floor. Cold drinks can be found in the drinks fridge on the 2nd floor. Please make a note of the drinks you have consumed on the drinks menu in your room. Please hand in your drinks menu at reception when you check out on the day of departure.

Free WLAN is available throughout the hotel.
Please use the WLAN “Perle-Gast”, the password is “Cuxhaven”.
Credit cards
In addition to cash (Euro currency only) and EC cards, we also accept Mastercard and Visacard.
Card payments are possible from EUR 10,-.
Tourist tax and accommodation tax
Since 01.01.2015, the new tourism contribution statutes of the city of Cuxhaven have been in force. The most important change is that the spa cards must now be issued by the landlords or accommodation providers.
The contribution is calculated without exception according to the number of overnight stays, the amount of the spa contribution is staggered according to the spa zone and the main and low season.
The prices are based on the high and low seasons and are set anew each year by the town of Cuxhaven.
• Children up to the age of 16 are exempt from paying the spa fee.
• Severely disabled persons with a GdB of 100% or more are exempt from paying the spa fee. Accompanying persons of severely disabled persons who, according to their official identity card, are completely dependent on constant accompaniment (mark “B”) are exempt from paying the spa fee.
• The beach usage fee is included in the visitor’s tax.
The overnight stay tax came into force with the decision of 14.11.2017. Initially, the overnight stay tax was limited until 31.12.2021. Following an extension, it is now limited until 31.08.2026.
The accommodation tax is 2.75% of the room rate.
The charge for meals is not included here.

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in the entire interior of the hotel.
Smoking is only permitted outdoors, in front of the main entrance, on the roof terrace of the Inselstübchen, in the garden area or on your terraces/balconies with the door closed.
Ashtrays are available there.
the event of non-compliance, a special cleaning fee of EUR 200.00 will be charged.
Reinigung
Your room will be cleaned daily between around 08:00 and 12:00, depending on occupancy, unless you have hung up the „Do not disturb “-sign or you indicate at the breakfast buffet an, dass that no cleaning is required.
If you want fresh towels, please place the used towels on the floor.
A daily change of bed linen is not provided.
In the event of excessive soiling of the room
(e.g. due to the preparation of food/drinks)
a special cleaning fee of EUR 100.00 will be charged.

Kettle
Please only use the kettle to boil water. This will help to ensure that the next guest can also use the kettle. Thank you very much.
Wellness area
Our wellness area on the first floor is available to every guest from
11:00 to 22:00 at the disposal of every guest.
You can access this area with your chip card. You will find this
in front of the wellness area in the glass shelf next to the bathing shoes.
Use of the sauna is included in the room rate and can be activated independently by each guest using the timer next to the sauna door. Lead time: approx. 30-40 minutes
To use the whirlpools and solarium, you will need your chip card again. The devices are activated via the chip card and you are charged for the use on the card.
Please bring your card to reception on the day of departure, where we will read the card and add the costs to your bill.
The hotel accepts no liability for falls in the wellness area.
Please note that the tiles are slippery, especially when wet, and only enter the wellness area with non-slip bathing shoes.
